I wear 9.5 in Olfe and 9 in Ron - had to size down on Ron for heel slip. I'd say you're an 8.

@Meermin any plans for new RTW or GMTO balmoral boots anytime soon, especially in shell cordovan or all one material?

I just ordered their Linea Maestro black Oxford in a UK 9. I'm a tad worried about the sizing ordering online, seeing as returns are costly. But with a total length of 27cm of my foot with socks, I feel it's the safest choice.

I was looking at the classic collection first, but couldn't pass up trying the handwelt option at this price. Apparently the leather in the Linea Maestro is better as well, but I don't know in what sense (except that it's from another tannery).

You might want to write Meermin before they ship your order with the length of your foot and width.

I fear you might have ordered ½ a number to large.

I did. They (sort of) avoided the question and pasted me a standard message with measurements of the last.

They did however include this information:

Foot 26.7 cm 8.5UK

Foot 27.1 cm 9UK

Which ultimately led me to believe that a 9 would be best suited. I guess I will see when it arrives, as it was shipped this morning.

if those are the numbers they gave you then you should be ok.

Has anyone bought a Meermin belt ?

How is the quality ?

Do you think the Naturcalf leather ones (65€) are worth the extra 20€ compared to regular calf leather (45€)  ?

Thx

I have the regular calf I believe. They were around $50.00 USD. The 1035 Dark Brown and the Museum Calf Dark Brown ($80.00 USD) are the ones I ordered. They are good quality but definitely feel slightly less supple and smooth compared to my Carmina belts. The difference in build quality between the Museum and regular dark brown is subtle in my opinion.

All of them are very good value.

Hi guys, looking to place my first Meermin order but unsure about sizing.

Does anybody who wears an 'E' width in Allen Edmonds #65 last (ie. Park Avenue, 5th Ave, Strands) know how Meermin lasts compares?

Specifically I am looking at Meermin oxfords models '101198' in the Hiro last and '101534' in the Elton last. I prefer the aesthetic of the Elton but I am unsure if they will be wide enough.

For reference, I am size 9.5E in Park Ave's.

I have some interest in this as well. AE has me at 9D on the 65 last. Interested in Meermin's Elton, Olfe, New Rey lasts.
