Alright, that's okay then.

What do you think of the boots?

Just a few cons I notice:

- leather sole seems very slippery/dangerous
- tongue pad has a stiff vertical line going through?

Have any of you purchased shell cordovans from Meermin, and experienced issues with the finishing?

I recently purchased a pair of NST’s from them on eBay, and it seems like they have the thickest layer of wax I’ve ever seen. It took several rounds of Saphir Reno to get through it and make them presentable.

Does this get better over time as the leather sole wears?

Good question.  I have wear my shoes 6-9 times.  Today I was wearing them and I have experienced no change at all. May be they are made of hard leatherboard??.

Does anyone own a pair of the dark brown Chelsea boots currently on the website and can post pictures of them in the wild and speak to their quality? Thanks!

my came with rubber sole, the boots are still sitting in my office, my first ever pair of Chelsea, not sure if I like that style, all of my other shoes/boots are laced. the build quality seems on par with other Meermins that I have. although there are some bumps or unevenness in the foot bed, which I hope will go away after some wears.

I recently received a pair of cherry antique MTOs from Meermin and was wondering what brand and particularly color of shoe polish and/or cream I should use to maintain them? (Several of the "cherry" polishes, e.g., Saphir, seem to be too red for the leather.) Thank you in advance.

I bought some Meermins close to that color and the gentleman at the shop sold me Saphir Mahogany to match. Color looks similar.
