Meermin Mallorca Shoes - Page 944

Quality control, I bought a pair of meermin oxfords last year, and they had a big smell like glue, plus some cosmetic issues. I got a pair of chukkas recently and they are very, so I guess it depends of the model

Listed these in the BS, my feet are just too wide.

But if you are loud, Meermin is the only brand that won't cost you an arm and a leg.

Thanks, that settles it. I've heard some good things about Meermin leather quality and that, when made properly, their shoes punch above their weight, but no leather, channeled soles or hand-welting are worth playing the roulette with QC, especially if there is no easy and free way to return defective products.

And no, I'm not interested in their loud designs (not that their selection looks particularly loud to me - maybe a few models are, but compared to some Italian or French shoemakers they're arch-conservative).

What colour saphir do people use on their oak antique calf leathers?

Anyone else ordered MTO boots way back in September for November delivery?

Getting close to Christmas now and still no word from Meermin. I'll be away for 10 days over Christmas, which is probably when they'll end up arriving.

Hi guys, I just received my pair of Snuff Rapaello Suede oxfords on the Hiro last. I have a pair of Loake 1880 Cornwall on the Duke last, UK size 7.5. I sent my measurements to Meermin who told me I should take size 7.5 on the Hiro as well.

Well I just got my pair. And when my feet are in the shoes they actually feel not too bad; a little tight but bearable. The tough part is actually getting my feet INTO the shoes. It's some work. Is this normal for narrow lasts?

P/S - the colour doesn't look like what's shown on the website. Its a fair bit darker in reality. Bit disappointing.

Hey...I'm interested in purchasing boots/shoes from RUI last. I'm a U.S. "C" width. Any "C" width guys with experience sizing on the RUI last? Is it even feasible? Thanks!

I'm a D width, and I'm wishing I would have sized down in my pair of boots on the RUI last. It's fairly wide and spacious.

Not sure how the insteps compare but it looks like New Rey could be comparable.

Contacted Meermin and they said they're had a problem with that MTO batch. Delivery will be late December or early January, and they are going to throw in a pair of shoe trees to compensate.

Mostly Black on the toes and Havana for the rest.

I'm thinking about picking up a pair of the galway-esque oak and country calf boots. What's the price on these for European based customers? Debating buying online vs when I'm next in Madrid or using a proxy. Thanks!
