My very first Meermin shoes:

I am impressed by the shoes, it's beautiful and good quality, but very disapointed with the time they made me wait after ordering. I cannot imagine that I had to wait nearly 2 months for that.

I love purple, i hate those ^ laces on that shoe

After receieving my MTO Museum calf and wearing my classic line oxfords for a year, I have to say that I am done with Meermin.
There was intention to buy a pair of plain cap toe, black oxfords however that idea is shelved.

The MTO are not up to the standard for the price paid and the classic line squeak so loudly they are unwearable in an office environment.
Seeing the mounting QA issues and my own experince with Meermin's poor QA, resulting in crooked welts, off centre medallions and split soles,
I think it is time the forum found an alternate shoe maker.

Any suggestions?

I've been considering purchasing those for a while, they look beautiful. How's the sizing compared to your standard US size? The width?

Are these light brown or dark brown?

These look like the light brown ones. I got the dark brown hatch grain ones a week and half ago and now am on my 4th wear and they are pretty much broken in. The first couple of wears it was definitely stiff, but I guess that is to be expected.

I personally really like the dark brown hatch grain, the color is dark, but not as dark as on the website. In certain lighting it also has be a bit of red/burgundy hue to it as well which is really nice. Not sure if the dark brown regular full grain calf is the same, but I like the hatchgrain and the pattern is pretty subtle to be honest. From standing level, I can barely tell it's a hatchgrain vs. a regular full grain.

I'm sorry I should have specified the second run. Thank you though!

Do you mean scotch/country grain? Meermin don't make a hatch grain model, hence Terrorsquad's mto
