No burnishing on my brown museum MTOs. Pics of the creases when I get a chance.

Hi Alex, it'd be nice if you can send us a confirmation once you have collected all the information. Since I joined to MTO program at a very late stage, so I am not sure whether I am in or not (though I pm-ed you all the order detail). Thank you.

I believe that design is available in the existing LM collection, but in the NR last? (http://meermin.es/ficha_articulo.php?id=2353). Guess the differences lie in the Olfe last being used here! I like it, just a little unsure if I'd prefer a plain toe over a punched toe

Hi mate,

Sorry for not PM'ing back. I literally had to wade through 30 PM's. I'm getting a good dozen PM's a day, so sometimes I forget to PM back confirmation. I've got all your details, thanks.

What I'm doing is using a spreadsheet, with each person having a page. The form sits there, and when I get their details, I update that person's form, and colour coding the spreadsheet so I know I've got them up to date.

Anyway, still chasing a lot of people!

Cheers,

Alex

I'm stealing your spreadsheet idea!

OK, thought on this please?
This shows the creasing on the shoes after about 4 hours wear with the left being far more pronounced. I feel they fit a tiny bit long but nothing serious

All I know is that my shoes got delivered today, and I pray that mine won't look like that after only 4 hours..

The thing isn't that they fit too long, I don't think. I think the last is too long i.e. even if they feel snug on the feet, the toes aren't far enough into the toebox, because ideally your size might be one smaller, in a wider fitting (whether or not that exists). I've seen this a lot with people wearing G&G in this forum - going up a size, that feels fine, fits fine in a way, but wears wrong because the toe box is just too far away from the end of the foot. I find after a while that the shoe starts to look an odd, shape, as most of it begins to mould to the foot, but the toe begins to look increasingly separate!

Honestly it's one of the reasons I haven't gone for these MTOs: if the lasts aren't right to fit in the normal size, then they don't fit and I don't want them. If MTO is non-retuernable, I'm not taking a chance on a last that I don't already know fits (and preferably in the same style - I've different sizes in oxford and derby on the same last in one case). Of course I could be wrong about yours, but I think as a general thing, if the regular size doesn't fit, don't size up - get a wider fitting if available, or a different last if not.

That's the thing, I didn't size up, this is my regular size!
I've sized my on order MTO down half based on this but they're not cap toes so it wouldn't have been so bad anyway. The right shoe is fine but the left is now creasing all the way back on the inside. Think I'm gonna email Pepe, something ain't right!
