I've been waiting for them to bring back the Chelsea MTO in either the Dark Brown Naturcalf they had previously, or I would happily spring for museum calf. However, I'm not sure I'd want a Dainite sole, I'm not really looking for it to be my foul weather boot - I got the previous Antique Brown Wingtip Boot and will probably also get the Balmoral boot in Dark Brown Llama for those purposes. I'm no expert, but I feel like the sleekness of the Chelsea form combined with the finish on the museum calf would look best with one of those dark brown chestnut tanned leather soles... my .02 :)
Unfortunately I don't have any photos that I took myself. This is kind of what I mean:

As to the sole, I also don't think that a Dainite sole automatically means it's meant to be worn in foul weather. I think Carmina did an excellent job on theirs so I thought it would be possible here as well.
And it will add some durability for the upcoming months (even though they'll probably ship late December/early January). As for the lasts, I'm sure there are others here with more knowledge than me to choose the best type of last
Ahh okay, I also wouldn't mind a pair of Jodphur boots.. Although I'd prefer that in black (also with a Dainite sole). Somebody else got some ideas?
