Meermin Mallorca Shoes - Page 755

Anyone know what happened to the brown museum calf?   As someone said above, it has vanished from the website.  Not currently being funded, not fully funded--it's in GMTO limbo.

It disappeared from the MTO Groups page, but it can still be accessed directly here: http://meermin.es/grupoMTO.php?idGrupo=9

"Successfully funded!", too... :sarcasm: Maybe it'll be back soon, just like the calf/suede balmoral boot ;)

Edit: Five minutes later, and the BLACK PEBBLE GRAIN plus the GREEN RAPELLO SUEDE are also fully funded, the museum calf is there again, just the bal boot is still on which was the first to be "Successfully funded!"... :sneaky2: Let's see how that venture develops.

This MTO stuff is like a fun game, up, down, funded, available again, on the site, off the site.

Exactly - and now the GREEN RAPELLO SUEDE is back. They probably watch this space and make fun of me while I type :paranoia:  (that's the "fun" in "funding", I see...)

Great marketing, however - that website probably hasn't had that many hits in years, we're watching that space closely in anticipation now ;)

I suspect they just have a timer and once it ticks all the way down it moves it to Fully funded.

Then they move it back because it is not fully funded....

What is this shoe from the Meermin home page?  Navy cap toe?

Ah, very nice - Chukka in TAN COUNTRY CALF on HIRO last now up in the MTO Group section!

I think I'll pass this time, already got the Double Monk and the Cap Toe Boot in that colour, plus a Carmina Chukka Five Eyelet in Vegano Brown Calf GMTO coming.

That's the Navy Cap Toe Adelaide Oxford on the OLFE last that was available as a limited run in Feb '13. No longer available, but might come back in the MTO Group one of these days

They're definitely MTO in the sense that they made sizes available that aren't available on their stock models, like my 12.5UK.

Is that right?  Pity they don't seem to offer width options - that's something I'd certainly expect with MTO.

Yes lovely shoe, the trim in the pic above looks like it would stand out but when wearing them it doesn't.  That being said gentlemansfootwear is taking preorders for a Carmina navy one similar, the calf on that one looks like a lighter navy but prob worth checking out if you are interested.
