Meermin Mallorca Shoes - Page 72

Yeah i'm accustomed to a bit flapping up and then wearing off from time to time usually along the edge but this seems like it is completely peeling off.

It's funny because this is the third pair they have sent me. First were the wrong colour, second the welt separated from the sole and squeaked unbearably. The second I still haven't had a chance to send back yet.

I hate to say it - but the price on these babies has had me a bit iffy all along. I've been hanging back waiting to see how things went for people.

did these see wet pavement or an especially hard wearing?

Looks like you wore them when it was wet out. Too bad, if they were gemmed they would have held up better. peepwall[1].gif

Yup in fact it started after the first wearing but got worse after the second. They have been worn pretty lightly. First time out it was dry, the second admittedly it was a bit wet nothing too serious, but I didn't think I needed to cover these in a pair of Swims to get longevity.

Ive been thinking the same thing, if its too good to be true it probably isnt. It feels like alot of similair examples have popped up in this thread.

I do still have hope for the Linea Maestro quality level.

These are classic collection. Both have channelled soles I think. LM has the fiddleback waist.
