Thinking about picking up some plain toe bluchers in shell; what color do you think I should go with?

I have the following:
Alden Ravello SWB, Alden Color #8 Captoe Boot, Alden Burgundy Balmoral, Wolv. 1000 Mile Chestnut Chromexcel, Black Monks, Tan Bucks...

I'm so excited!

Thanks for this information - I was actually trying to ascertain the correct size for the Meermin monk on the Hiro last.  Any knowledge on this?

I typically wear a US9D and went with a UK8 in the double monk on the Hiro last, based on the measurements they provided (which I've posted earlier in this thread). They should arrive Monday...

Hrm, are you familiar with any of the Alden lasts? I'd love it if you could compare it them. But I am also a 9D on the brannock.

Well, based om what my friend told me when he visited the Japan store, the shop assistant told him that Meermin has a few lines.one are those from Spain while they also have a line that is made in China.

The Chinese line was also available in the Japan store but at a considerably lower price. The ones we order from Pepe are obviously the ones made in Spain.

Just some more feedback on the ama and the hiro lasts. Hopefully helps somewhat although everyones footis different and fit is subjective.

I bought both in size 9uk

I am a 9uk in c&j 337 and ive got 9uk simpson and robert lasted carminas.

C&j is a perfect fit, simpson is tight across the front of my foot and robert last is loose around my heel.

Hiro last is perfect for me and slightly tighter than the c&j 337 across the ball if my foot. I feel this will give a bit and be truely perfect after a few months

Ama last is wider across the ball but narrows across my toes so i feel my little toe push into the side a bit. Not uncomfortable but prefer the hiro aesthetically.

Received heaps of compliments from the guys around work and when they heard how much ive got at least 6 wanting to order some ... So Pepe is about to get a bulk order from Australia.

I thinkim going for a pair of hiro last brown suede dubmunks and im going to see if there is a punchtoe semibrogue in the linea maestro line in black.

Would appreciate some help concerning fits. I'm the following size
C&J: UK7,5 (348 last)
Vass: UK7,5 (U last)
G&G: UK8 (GG06 and MH71 lasts)

What would my size be for the 'Vil' and 'New Rey' lasts?

Thanks in advance.

I would also be very interested how the sizing of the Meermin Vil last relates to CJ 348 last.

Usually not a fan of black suede, but those look quite nice! The purple lining is also a sweet detail. Do you have the possibility to comment on the last with regards to other lasts?

I'm sorry for my vague question, I was thinking in regards to other companies' lasts e.g. C&J 348. This is clearly not the last for my feet, but I highly appreciate your answer.

Christian, I haven't tried other lasts from Meermin yet. This New Rey is very pointy and narrow on the ball of foot. Not suitable for wide feet or high insteps and all other should take ½ size larger.

I wonder about the High Instep as it looks in the photos that there is plenty of instep room?

In any regards a very nice looking shoe/last shape. I like the hidden stitching of the upper (where the leather is folded over on itself).

Its funny but many of the details on this shoe and the way the were executed are very similar to a pair I own labelled "Alexander". I wonder if maybe Meermin produced them?
