In the end, yes, but it was a bit of a pain to get it.
The process started with my sending the shoes back at my cost (just over $50)
After tracking showed their arrival in spain and customs clearance I sent an email asking for an update on the refund. I was told they hadn't received them. I checked in every 5-7 days asking for an update, citing the tracking # that showed they'd cleared customs, and was told they hadn't received them.
Finally, after about a month i was refunded my money. (purchase price + return shipping)
I understand they're a new company, and have some kinks to work out, but it really wasn't that easy of a transaction. The delay in a refund is all the more annoying since it seems the shoes were sitting in the PO the whole time and the issue was that no one had bothered to pick them up.
To top it off I have a bill from FedEx for customs charges on the shoes I returned.
Still not sure what is going to happen with that...If anyone has advice on how to deal with FedEx on returns it'd be appreciated.

I was a huge fan at first. As their popularity has grown they now seem to have to much on their plate.

Yes, but I would only classify it as a 'mild case.' Not enough for me to contemplate returning them. They don't appear to be as severe as the pics you have posted.
