Cap toe will work fine with Cordovan.

If you keep it polished, a rubber sole is something most people will never notice (particularly black sole on a black shoe).

It's an unusual makeup but for hard wearing everyday office wear in a wet climate like Norway has I think it could work.

If it were me I go with a plain oxford as shown in my link........but it's not me, is it? :D

Thanks for the input, Gdot! I fully agree that a plain oxford is beautiful, but with such a formal shoe I don't think the dainit sole would go. But as I said, it's almost a given fact that they will be a part of my collection by some time. Since I'm also in my early twenties, experimenting with a little more designelements is almost mandatory.

What's the best way to reach them for ordering? I've tried the email addresses they list on their sites but haven't heard back.

Thanks!

I have a pair of ptb's on order in dark brown. I just haven't seen a lot of dark brown shell (not #8, but pure dark brown), so I'm excited to give these a shot. NAMOR -- I'm assuming you've seen this comparison pic on their tumblr... I hope Pepe doesn't mind me reposting here...
