How does this work exactly? I chose a model that I like, I send a scan of an outline of my foot with dimensions to their email address and they work it from there?

So, no one else has ordered a pair of Jodhpurs except NAMOR?

Hmm. BTW, what did you do with your pair NAMOR?

Is this a general rule for dub monks?

I was considering getting Meermin's dub monks and I have wide-ish feet with very little arch. I basically have flat feet. Would that be an issue?

I´ve also noticed more heel slipage on my dub monks than on my laced up shoes. I think its generic to dub monks, and not specific to Meermin, though my flat feet may contribute to the slipage.

Here´s how I solved the problem:

1) I asked Meermin to punch another hole on the rear strap. (I bought the dub monks at the Madrid store). This tightened up the back fit, limiting slippage.

2) Because I have really flat feet and wear an orthotic, which raises the foot at mid shoe, I had my cobbler gently stretch the mid foot leather, then punch a new -slightly looser - hole on the forward strap.

Worked for me, though of course YMMV.

Where can I buy the Meermin Chukka boots from the 'Classic collection'? I asked them about it, but they don't answer my e-mails, plus that someone here at SF said that they were available at the webshop a few months ago.

Do they make short wingtips in suede leather?

Did you size up in New Rey vs Ama?

I sized up from UK10 on the Ama last to UK10.5 on the New Rey last. Wish I didn't, as there is a lot of heel slippage. That said, if I didn't size up, I might have experienced pinched toes.

There is no substitute for measuring, beause I noticed heel slippage on the Carmina wholecuts in the Rain last in a UK10.

Thicker socks and inserts to see if I can reduce heel slippage.

They was available on their website some time ago. I have them in regular calf. You need to email them anyway, because they only accept email orders, so the answer is pretty obvious: that you need to send them a follow up email after 3-4 days if they don't respond.

The average was 7-10 days for me (if at all).  I got better results by e-mailing [email protected]

nope.  usually takes at least twice that, longer with a reply with pictures

To echo previous posts on this topic....

Communications with Luisa is a breeze. But when it comes to placing the order with Sandro, the communication all of a sudden just grinds to a halt.

As I type, I am still waiting for a them to send me details on payment. :dozingoff:

I'm trying to figure out sizing. I wear a 9E US, and I would wear a 8 UK in the AMA last. I'm looking at the Ron last for the tassel loafer, and I don't know if I should just go 8uk also, or if I should size up to 8.5 UK. Any help would be really really really (do I have enough reallys) appreciated. I'm dying to get these but cant figure out my size.

What size should I order on the RUI last? (interested in these: http://meermin.es/ficha_articulo.php?id=1958#)

I wear a 9D on the AE 5 last (though a 9D in the Lasalle bluchers are too big for me, not sure what size I'd be in those).

For AE, my sizes are something like this:
9D - runs a little long, but ok in width, decided to go with these
8.5E - runs just a touch short, ok in width. Probably could get away with these.

Basically, I'm something like an 8.75D :)
