Here is a quick picture my father took of my double-monks. I won't have them in my hand until next Thursday, but, they look fantastic. Super excited!! Sorry for the lighting.

I don't know why they don't add this to their standard catalog. Unless Namor is demanding royalties for his design....

Those look beautiful!  I hope to have a pair just like them someday.  I'm at 45 days and counting right now.

These are supposed to be the light brown. I'm not sure if they got it correct, or its just the lighting. The shoes are in another province but I will have them next Thursday and will post better pics then. However, the quality looks quite good.

The Olfe is more asymmetrical, and likely narrower. By how much is probably best answered by contacting Meermin directly.

Ordered a pair of Light Brown Dub Monks...still confused as to the payment process. I didn't input any CC info at all.

I know that they said they will send an invoice when the shoes are ready to ship...but is that a good business practice? What if they have prepped the shoes and I all of a sudden change my mind...that is time lost for them.

Just curious.

Maybe for the 2nd round in hatchgrain you guys will be interested? I assure you it will just be as awesome smile.gif

Hatchgrain would def. be a second hot favourite.

(Well maybe a little bit of hurry!!)

Thank you gentleman. I believe they will be finished ahead of schedule though thats just my opinion.

With regards to the hatchgrain, I actually have pictures of samples of the leather sent to me; it will definitely go ahead.  I'm just sorting out some things regarding it.

Meermin states that all their shoes will be shipped within 30 days unless they say otherwise.  The real turn-around, though, seems to be anywhere from a couple of weeks to two months depending on your luck and their available stock.  I wear a size 8/UK which is pretty common so there's likely more demand for them.  Or, they could be filling orders out of turn.  Either way, I'm okay with waiting so long as they send shoes that pass QC.
