No it's not. Dub monk boots would be great. My only pair so far is a double-soled Polo made by C&J. Hatch would be even better ;-)

I have a question, in AE Park Aves I'm an 11.5 3E, on the C&J 236 (Connaught) Im an 11F, Trickers an 11 5 fitting(wide fitting). If i was planning on ordering from the classic line (Hiro last I think) what size should I be aiming for? Thanks!

Do you mean Balmoral boots? Their RTW is in the pipeline for later this year but you could go MTO for around €400. I already enquired into an Austerity bal boot but put it on the back burner when I jumped on the group MTO. Email Sandro or Pepe and they'll sort you out

Meermin Balmoral boots' pattern still looks very off and needs to get more refined.

lol yeah, being made on a double rubber outsole. Will be a nice "going out" boot that can withstand the elements (booze)

Can someone liken the olfe last to another manufacturer so that I have a better idea on fit? I want to order a pair but am hedging on size [between an 11 and 11.5 UK]. They'll be shipped to France, so it isn't an enormous deal to return the wrong pair, but I'd still like to avoid returning if possible.

I'm putting money away now for the next MTO. Stupid outside, emergency expense forced me out of the current one. Never again.

Also, a nicer chukka woauld be a pretty cool mto. Or an austerity brogue boot.
