Most of the people who have posted in this thread as far as i know have been in shape but for those not so inshape will this a TaT suit work?

Obviously something in the house cut may be too slip but will the conservative cut work out assuming proper measurements are taken?

Yup. I'm not huge but not trim either, and I love how my TaT stuff makes me look.

Received my suit over the weekend. While I'm pleased with the fabric and overall purchase experience with Jason, there were a few issues I'm not sure how to go around adjusting. First fit pics: (iphone 4 sorry) Issue pics: I think the shoulders are too wide and/or a combination of low armholes. The arms fit nicely, just that I can't really lift my arm to shake hands or drink coffee (buttoned or unbuttoned). Not sure if this can be fixed by my tailor. Thoughts?

Is that how it came from Jason or did you have it tailored?

Straight out of the box over the weekend.

the biggest complaint with Tat has always been the low arm holes, which is contributing to your problem. But you're right that the shoulders are too wide, and when paired with the aggressive waist suppression, the silhouette is off. I think bringing the shoulders in would improve the issues with range of motion as well as the look, but it's going to be expensive and may not turn out well.

From the pics, I see shoulders too big, chest too big, sleeves too short. That's pre-pressing though... I think the combination of too wide of shoulders/chest with the waist suppression is what is causing some of your issues. Where I fall short is on solutions to fix this. Good luck!

I contacted Jason and I'll be meeting him up again to go over the posted issues. Hopefully can get it all resolved as I do like the suit. Pressing the suit shrinks it up a bit?

No, but it will effect how it falls on your shoulders and what not. Either way, how'd you go about measuring? Did you have a buddy for help?

Got measured by Jason 2 weeks ago and ordered a charcoal sharkskin suit, mostly house cut. 500 big ones, but it should be awesome. I felt a lot of the samples, and the sharkskin felt/looked much nicer than the other grays I was looking at. Apparently I have a slightly longer left arm than right. I checked in the mirror, and he's right - I think this may have to do with carrying all those heavy textbooks in my backpack when I was a kid. That and most likely due to me golfing every Saturday morning back then.

Received my suit today at only 16 days since I ordered and initial fitting is very promising, though I didn't have too much time to really check it out. The only thing that jumped out was I ordered the inseam a bit too long, but that's easily fixable. Great looking and well-constructed suit for an awesome price.

The sleeves of your shirt are too long. It makes the suit sleeves look to short, but I think better fitting shirts might make it look good. Granted, I'd have to see a comparison.

Back of your shoulders is way too wide, in my opinion. Coupled with the taper to the waist makes it look a bit off. You can often still pull of a trim appearance without having too much taper. It's all about getting the shoulders right, though.

Chest is probably an inch too big.

Does anybody have anything made in the Grey PoW Tweed? What about the Grey Blue Check? I'm going between those for a suit.
