Again, props to Jason to be an superb seller...

I took a picture of what suit looks in its current state. I took it to the dry cleaners and showed them the problem and they said that it must be the inter-lining that has shrunk causing rippling on the outer shell and that pressing it would only be temporary solution. I also took it to my tailor and she gave me the same explanation.

As you can see the suit fits very well. Very nice silhouette. However, those ripples make them almost unwearable. I highlighted the problem; mainly at the bottom of the lapel, the darts, and the quarters.

Before I do anything to the suit, I want to hear Jason's expert opinion before I venture into something that may make it worse.

Thanks!

I am sure you will get sorted - Great cut though. Perhaps go for a different fabric. What is that, cotton?

suit arrived! absolutely phenomenal -- fit is 99.9% perfect, lining was lovely and surprising, silhouette is sensational. the fit is very similar -- but notably superior -- to a $1,200 Zegna suit I tried on at Bloomingdale's in SoHo. Jason's recommendation of the flannel was wise. buyers, get your measurements right and you will own a dream suit. I can't imagine that a deal this good will last for long.

going tie-shopping tomorrow, and will post pics when I return.

and jason, thanks.

I have some old photos of the Beatles and I think it was George wearing something similar that just looks fantastic. Obviously the silhouette would be a fitted one.

Still debating if it's something worth trying to make.

I know this is from about 30 pages ago, but I absolutely would be all over your DB suits.

Just ordered mine, now I wait anxiously for its arrival!

A DB suit would be great, would love to see Jasons interpretation of a DB suit. I am getting married in a year and have been leaning more and more towards getting a custom fit suit for it.. instead of doing the rental tux thing. A TaT DB suit would be perfect!

(Yes I know, I've just ordered my first TaT suit and I am already discussing my second.. guilty as charged)

The sleeves are a little long (hence the weird fists holding my shirt sleeves), but hopefully I can get them tailored even though this is supposedly difficult since they are functional.

Ordering from TaT was a great experience and I recommend them to all.

Wow, that suit looks astounding. You've just convinced me to buy one!

Photo tip: Stand with your light source behind the camera, shining on the subject. Basically, face the window and put the camera on the window facing you.

Black one button ordered! I've created a tear in the sartorial force, I feel.

And I love it.

Just a thought, it would probably be useful to update the first post of this thread with a simple FAQ and general info page. I only say this because several threads have popped up recently because new comers didn't want to go through and read everything and I think that a basic updated info OP with maybe a few fit pictures and answers to the most common questions will save everyone a lot of headaches.
