Hey guys,

Sorry for being MIA over the past week.

1. Let's get the Bal Boot order going ASAP. You guys are totally right - Chestnut was the favorite, so I'm going to put together our first preorder for that. I'll get it rolling tomorrow and we can have it submitted to Carmina by next week.

2. Also, got a confirmation on the Austerity Brogue order, they're starting work on them this week. We look good for delivery on that! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

3. I've got to post pictures of my Saddle Double Monks. After only a few months of wear, it's incredible how much darker these got. The aging is beautiful on them.

4. "Good lord" on those green loafers. They're excellent. I imagine that they're the green calfskin with heavy burnishing. No problem, we can absolutely order those. I'd also estimate a final price in the $500-$550 range. Probably more $550, as the heavy burnishing is a bit more pricey. We can definitely get that order going AND get them delivered in time for the Summer. We can do it with a nice light sole edge to really make that green pop.

I would be down the same thing. Mike previously mentioned he loved this combo and would be a preorder in April for early fall delivery. I have already put it on my calendar to coordinate with him mid-March, so don't worry, it will happen. PM if I forget or fall off the face of the earth for any reason. Ha. I love that boot.

Perfect. I didn't read the post where Mike said it would be a preorder in April, so that's a load off my mind.

If we only need four people to commit for the saddle bal boot, would you mind putting together an order for that as well? There were three already in the survey, and I am sure there is a good chance someone would join in if it happens. Worst case scenario is you have to refund us, in case only three orders com through.

If I could make a suggestion:

With all the different shoes being discussed, and this thread being up to 36 pages, perhaps another thread where you can keep the active and past orders at the top of the thread so people do not have to dig through dozens of pages to see photos of the shoes being discussed for orders and know what orders dates are coming up, how many people are still needed to make an order go through, etc.

I'm not saying we kill the discussion, just that keeping the top post up to date would make it a lot more user friendly.

Would love to see these. I note that there appears to be a pair of the Salinger left in what I think will be my size.

What last will it be on? At first it was going to be Robert but then a poll was initiated and it looked like it was going to be on the Forest last.

That's definitely a good idea, but it's probably best to keep this discussion to the one thread. But what I can do is post a weekly update that summarizes everything going on with our Carmina projects. Would that work?

Oh man, they look so good now! Especially after a little Renovateur.

We're getting the big Salinger restock in a few weeks too. Full restock of caramel and brown, and little restock of Saddle Shell.

It's going to be on the Forest. We can do that in a wide, and I can personally attest that it has an excellent fit.
