I second these... but original colour also looks great...

I like the original color as well.

Mike,

I saw in another thread that Carmina orders in cognac shell are on hold due to a shortage of shell from Horween. You heard anything?

Is there a current status on the WWII boot in the hand-burnished scotch grain? I take it that this is still waiting to go into production.

Also, any status update on the chocolate suede/calf jodhpur?

Thanks

What is the fate of the midnight calf balmoral shoes? Will it be made eventually, or should I be getting a refund? I haven't been paying much attention.

This is the shoe:

Edit: found my answer on an earlier page. Now trying to decide whether to cancel and apply my deposit towards some nice pants.

CARMINA GROUP BUYS: "IN-THE-WORKS"

We just got word from Carmina for the below group buys that are moving through the factory now. Typically from this point, we expect a delivery within approximately 4 weeks.

Chukka Boot in Brown Hatchgrain
WWII Boot in Cognac Shell Cordovan
Chukka Boot in Snuff Suede
Jodphur Boot Midnight Calf & Suede
Alt Wien Loden Shell Cordovan
Jumper Boot Navy Shell Cordovan

I don't see the hatch grain jumper on that list.

Since I've been traveling a lot recently, I could use a monkstrap, a double monk, or maybe a chelsea boot (for easy-on/easy-off at airport security) with a Dainite sole for wet weather. I really like the museum calf leathers, but I'd probably buy anything other than black. Is anyone else interested?

(I also like elastic-gore loafers, but I don't think Carmina offers one.)

Btw, for anyone waiting on the WWII boot in caramel scotch grain, Mike is waiting on the air way bill and says they should definitely be here this month.

How do I get my hands on the WWII hatch grain jumper? Is it a MTO group but only?
Yes, it was an mto but it wouldn't hurt to call and check.

Been pretty quiet lately. Any thoughts on some possible pre-orders getting put together in the near future?
Mike mentioned on the main EP thread that there should be some preorders pretty soon
