Dainite sole and close welt on jumper loden. Its a more sleek and versatile boot.

+1 on that. I was interested in the hatch, but this might change my mind...

btw, the original post has some bad links in it.

I like this, would be a nice counterpoint to the storm welt / commando shape of the other one.

Do you guys like the York Sole? If we use that, then we can have a medium brown edge which will go nicely with the Loden. Using Dainite will give it a black edge.

Oh thanks, fixed that.

Regarding the lizard monks, if we do a single monk, would the strap be on the side or like the ones like on Alden's monk strap?

Not much of a purple fan but this 'Chicago Blue' is an AWESOME color.

Single monk would most likely be the Rand,

Oh yes, I'll put that up today!

Great! Looking forward to placing the order nod[1].gif

Yeah, I've been suggesting this one for a while.  I'm definitely in.  Commando or Dainite sole both work.

That's what i was thinking but i already have a pair of monk straps like that and would prefer a single monk like this:

Otherwise I'd just take a double monk

Black lizard, single monk w/ strap on the side ala Rand. Let's see a mockup
post #3283 of 4102
I can't possibly need both the Greeley and the Jumper, can I? I mean, that's just crazy talk, right?
Dainite and brown edge trimming is my first choice, that is the IT BOOT! What really matters is flat welt.

Surely someone is going to suggest exposed brass eyelets for the loden jumper boot?!

I think a hatchgrain wholecut would look best on Simpson.
