By the way, I think we're becoming MTO buddies. First the ruby boot, then the terracotta. There might have even been a third in there somewhere.

Haha I forgot that it was a darker color then I re-read everything and realized it. I was just surprised and now I cant wait because I think with khakis/light tan will be fantastic with it.

MTO BUDDIES!!!! Except I gotta stop for a bit. Cant spend more money on shooooz

I cant wait for them. I was thinking it was looking too red like the Ruby captoes but then the Ruby is definitely more dressy and these look super rugged/casual

^ Excellent. I was a bit confused, because I've never before heard of Horween sourcing calf. Thanks for the updates, and keep us posted!

And justin, I want to stop buying shoes, especially since I just bought my first watch, but...Fall boot makeups. Can't stop that train.

Not my pic, because I *just* paid and haven't gotten it yet. It's been in my sights for over a year. I envy your potential suit purchase; I've been outgrowing my clothes so fast that all of my money is going to shoes and accessories, but after this watch I don't even know how I'm going to pay Mike for the incoming boots D: shh don't tell him.

Ah the Junghans Max Bill! That watch is fantastic. It's a perfect size, and I've been sweating one myself.

Thats awesome dude! Beautiful!

I really love the fabric of this suit but its a bit lighter navy which is great for 3 season wear so it might be perfect for what I want. Ill post a pic of the fabric as its MTM. Unfortunately all my suits are MTM peepwall[1].gif

Heres the navy suits I own plus the one I am highly considering:
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

From left to right:
DB suit
3 Piece windowpane suit
Navy on navy pinstripe

The fabric in question is a lighter navy with a white stripe. The fabric I originally wanted was a 1.25" navy and white pinstripe suit but it was gone in like 3 days.

Thoughts?

Just thought I'd throw some ideas out for fall possibilities:

The Carmina Tanker-style 80274...not sure what this looks like but if it is similar to the Alden tanker then I think it would look great in the hatch grain...any idea what color hatch grain might be available? The "bull rush" sees interesting...looks greyish. Might be cool in suede also.

Jumper in a dark brown suede or that greyish hatch grain

WT boot...navy suede or hatch grain...

Perforated cap toe boot in suede...perhaps dark brown or navy...

Cannot wait to get the fall makeups going... My two cents so far -- the chocolate/purple Greeley sounds faaaantastic, and I would love something in loden. Also -- which last is the Greeley on?

And anything in that ruby shell... is there any ruby shell left?

It looks nice to me, but I'm far from an authority on suits. You've got the green light from me, for what it's worth!

Pretty sure the Greeley was on Forest. Although after seeing those photos, I dare say it would look damn good in Rain, and that's coming from someone who used to hate Rain. And no, no ruby shell left; justin and I got the last of it (kidding...kind of).

Those kicks look sweet! (Sorry been discussing the new Jordan Grape 5's with some of the kids I teach, many of whom cut out to buy tickets for them yesterday).

A fall tanker sounds like a cool boot...I'd like to see one shell (really think Burgundy would look great) and one non-shell (suede, calf or chromex) but I'm not totally sure if I'd jump on them. The greeleys on the other hand look great, and a Loden Green Shell in that would be killer. I still think the classic fall boots are WTB and Perf Captoes...

Can't wait to pick up my Terracottas.

Did the pythons arrive in this shipment?

Mike-

Another cool leather option may be the navy chamois from Horween but use the "reverse" side. I think a reverse navy chamois would look pretty amazing on about any boot. Similar to suede but more rugged looking.

I know Leffot did an Alden WT boot in the regular navy chamois but I do not think anyone has done a reverse navy makeup yet...
