I'm pretty sure they're not lasted. You do get them at a discount though.

how many people do you need to do a MTO shoe? I really like the burnished burgundy austerity brogue idea but I also like the idea of a burnished dark oak austerity brogue (like the EG Beaulieu).

would anyone else be interested in a burnished dark oak austerity brogue or should this get put on the back-burner?

Are the shoe trees shaped to mimic any particular last? Just curious because I would like to buy a couple of the Carmina Shoe trees if you guys do not want them?

I would like to see a pic of the burnished dark oak also, not sure whether I like Carmina's burgundy color.

A few pages back, someone posted a picture.

Both colors are fantastic and both would fill a spot in my wardrobe.

These in Burgundy on Rain?

Just wanted to confirm. If so, I may be in.

Caramel, just like th URL says.

Mike, keep us posted on other colors of the antelope. Even if there aren't any others, I'd probably be in for a jumper boot; a tough leather like that paired with a badass boot design would be almost impossible to pass up.

Not asking what color that particular one was. I was asking, for confirmation, if the MTO in question was that model in burgundy.

If you're referring to the pics I posted, those are EG Beaulieu's....not sure if they were MTO or not.

i think the original story was that there was some sunken ship found with ridiculously old hatch grain reindeer leather that was then auctioned off for ridiculous prices

Epaulet normally sells their Carmina calf shoes for $545 so you're getting an MTO + Lasted shoe trees for the same cost as stock model + non-lasted woodlore trees. No brainer IMO.

Yeah they are not lasted and even lasted trees aren't that good in a lot of cases, with all the EG Bealieu talk, my pair in Burgundy antique on D82's trees don't even get close to filling out vamp, have to use the deadstock EG trees I have or a pair of skoak ones

It's quite nice the leather, think you can only get it Cleverley bespoke, which coincidentally is happening this month in the US with Leather Soul. Don't have $5k for a pair of shoes though

And for the Austerity if there is one happening in black shell, does Carmina have a last similar to EG's 82? Feel the EGs look a lot sleeker than this below:

Wow, that reindeer leather sounds wild. stevent, where did you hear about Cleverley handling the leather? Are any photos available online?
