I agree with forest last. I think anything more narrow or chiseled toe would look bad.

Even without the need for it, I vote Forest.

I may be in for the boot depending on last and price. Still on the fence about the color though...

Mike is there any red python shades? maybe burgundy, would be cool to get something for the year of the snake
post #2440 of 4103
I was just thinking about python recently too. My thoughts were austerity boot with navy python on the lower half and navy suede on the upper but didn't post it as I didn't think there would be much demand given the recent navy python order.

However, I'd be up for a red python if they do something suitable and a deep red suede upper. Might even be up for switching the python out for ruby shell.

I went back earlier in the thread and Mike stated that Epaulet would be getting the Rand and the Salinger in snuff suede. So it looks like a MTO is unnecessary.

^ They always stock the dub monk (Salinger) in snuff.

^ Yeah, but you might have to wait months at a time for a restock. I missed out on the original shipment, and waited like...5 months or so.

Yeah, I've been watching the website, but wasn't sure a re-stock was in Mike's plans. I've been looking around for several years, so 5 months more isn't a problem for me. It'll give me a chance to save my pennies (assuming something else doesn't come along in the interim to drain my bank account).

Yea restock is tough because there's always hype to get it for those that are anxiously waiting for it. Are we still going forward with the boot or loafer?

Also for mike any updates on the jodhpurs?
