It's tough to get the color spot on, but it's a soft red with a distinct orange cast. Somewhere in between the monkstrap pic and the Tan Lama boot.

With their new pricing this year, I'd say that this is going to be around $650 with the trees. I'll confirm that with Carmina.

The color's great in real life, and pretty rare to find. It will be a brilliant shade for matching navy trousers, jeans, or lighter khakis. When I originally did our grey lama makeup last year, I was struggling to decide between that color or terracotta. Terracotta is unusual but still very wearable, and a bit of a dying breed since the tannery shuttered.

I think details are all the same except for the color of the lama leather

I kinda feel like Chris Rock in those old In Living Color sketches at this point, but what if we kept the captoe, but lost the punching? Would that work for people?

I think I'd prefer without punching as well.  Looks pretty awesome.

I believe that the consensus is to keep the details exactly as they are, and just do the boot pictured in the mockup.

Nice boot. It looks similar to the Crockett & Jones Coniston. Any thoughts from folks who own the Coniston or have seen it in real life?

I've got the Coniston and this one looks slightly shorter. Also, the Coniston has speedhooks and pulltabs. Aside from that, they do look very similar.

For reference, this is my pair of Conistons:
