Oh, I'm definitely still in for tassels. And I know CHRK33 is too.

Who has the Carmina cognac jumpers?
I'm looking for a boot similar to alden's cap-toe options in barrie lasts.
I'd wear it casually and am concerned the Carmina jumpers might be a little too dressy.
Obviously, rather large investment, so any second opinions or pics, particularly with denim or chinos? (don't seem to be many online)

I have a pair of these in order.

Try posting this in the Epaulet thread. New York Islander has these boots and I bet he can accommodate with a fit pic. I posted a photo of then cognac shell bal boots with denim in that thread recently, but that probably doesn't help. Don't have eqsy access to the photo from my phone.

Haha, thanks for the non-response. They don't even look remotely tan.
Re-posting to main epaulet thread (too late at night = posted to wrong thread).

Anyone interested in Alt Wien in burgundy or cognac pebble shell? Yes pebble shell can be done, alden did it in 2007.

Is it time to revisit the wholecut brogue? In Navy. Calfskin or shell.

Anyone?

****************

And check out this model - it's a recent design for Carmina. A Wholecut Brogue. How do you guys like it?

That is pretty awesome. I would totally rock something like that in Navy.

I also am in the process of trying to get a split toe loafer in a Navy suede or something. Do we have any takers on a MTO for a loafer?

Mike,

Horween apparently has a riff on Russian hatch grain calf that Alfred Sargent occasionally uses. Would Carmina use it? I think loafers, two eyelet blucher or jopdhurs could work with it

Top photo includes the big red box (inside of which are big red shoe bags as well). Bottom photo shows for comparison, from left, Alden Ravello (over a year old), Carmina Cognac, Alden Cigar (lightly worn). Photos are with flash.

Carmina shoe trees not pictured.

A very quick try-on suggests the 10.5UK wide is going to be very comfortable. Very pleased to have the opportunity to purchase such a beautiful boot made to order.

love the cognac

JODHPUR PLS

That is, if that's similar to the G&G hatch grain I've seen. Got pics of the leather?
