Epaulet x Carmina MTO - Page 140

Got some live pics of the Austerity Bal Boot! Carmina is ready to start accepting orders on this one for a late Spring delivery, so I'd love to build out some concepts. I was thinking to offer it in

1) Ruby Shell Cordovan (of course)
2) Snuff Suede (this makes up beautifully in a boot)
3) Burnished Tan Calfskin

I'm open to a two-tone model as well if you guys want to try that. And I reserved some stock in Navy Shell too, so we can certainly add that in.

What color is that? Burgundy?

I'm definitely down for that!

Gorgeous!

I think I can accept the boots in ruby/navy/black/brown, but must be shell and have Dainite sole for better traction in winter.

I can do without the pull tabs, though. They sometimes hold up my pant legs and make me look silly. biggrin.gif

Here's a reference pic for an all-snuff suede boot:

And now this is a bit unrelated, but it really jumped out at me. You guys have already seen quite a few of the mighty pretty shoes in the Carmina boot. But this one was sitting there on the shelf, quietly calling my name:

It's a new model - the PTB on the rain last. Done in Navy Shell. Imagine this handsome guy with aged brass eyelets and a medium brown sole for some contrast... I've got about enough Navy Shell to do 8 Bal boots and another 8-10 shoes.

Definitely agree about the Dainite sole - the black scotchgrain's with the dainite sole are amazing in the Chicago/New York winters.

^ The Austerity looks amazing! Snuff sounds like fun, but does anyone know what Carmina's burnished tan calf looks like?

Also, leather soles all the way; let the snowy weather guys buy overshoes or something devil.gif

As much I like the idea of ruby shell and snuff suede, I think burgundy would be much more practical.

Even I don't like how repetitive I'm getting on this, but ... all black calf and York or dainite sole.

looks awesome. I hate having wide feet

Would be great in black calf with a York sole, especially considering how sleek it is

Austerity Bal boot would look good in this leather:

That actually sounds pretty damn good. Would be an incredibly sleek boot, especially if we went with Dainite instead of York.

Is there any interest in a jumper like Epaulet's Anderson boot in burnished caramel calf with a york sole. Forest last to allow for wider fittings. I'm thinking that would be a pretty amazing makeup. Kind of a casual boot to accompany the austerity bal boot makeup.
