What does anyone think about mixed-material using the python as an accent, as you see in the leather/suede boots, instead of using the python as the entire upper? I personally would get more wear out of them in this fashion.

You have an interesting definition of "versatile".

To anyone else out there who got the cognac bal boot, did you have any exposed stitching around the toe and was the leather around the toe very dry and weak looking.  The other boot is 100% perfect.

anyone have interest in carmina version of the EG dover?

i think its an extremely versatile shoe that would go with pretty much any epaulet pant.

Regarding the python austerity brogue (and assuming you will do another run): are Carmina able to supply a matching belt?

Thanks,

Stuart

@renton, idk the lasts well enough to know. i would leave that up to mike probably, def trust his judgement.

@jk, that looks good but idk if i wanna do suede and i definitely dont want a crepe sole.

^ Crepe souls are not the greatest. The York commando sole (leather/Dainite combo) is an excellent alternative -- or just a regular Dainite.
