Or possibly a dark brown calf/suede balmoral boot

You mean like this?

Yes, beautiful. I'd love purple suede, but a shade of brown is probably a lot more versatile.

^ Yeah. I'm wearing purple pants today, and brown is so much easier to match.

Would be more interested in green calf. Weren't those dress brogues you're talking about green calf? Have been waiting to get a green calf shoe in my life.

Don't know if I'd wear, but I still think a white (or off-white) suede dub monk with brass buckles would be the shit.

Actually what am I talking about -- I'd totally wear white dub monks.

The reason I posted that is because those boots were actually a very recent Epaulet MTO. However, I would totally be down for something with purple suede (now that the more versatile brown is taken care of). There was at least one pair in the bal boot porn thread that was brown with purple suede uppers, and it looked amazing.

Shame I missed them.

I also like the idea of something in navy calf like these EGs

Hey guys,

Okay, here's things from my side:

1. Another Carmina shipment is leaving Spain this week. I'll get confirmation on styles in a few days, but there should be plenty more MTO units in there.

2. I've asked for availability on Navy Shell to do some reorders of the Austerity Brogue, that Medallion toe Brogue, and/or Double Monk. We'd need 6 interested customers for each to put it into work.

In terms of new ideas, here's some discussion points and pics:

Navy Python Makeup

Okay, I think that I've got the perfect skin for this. The color is bonkers good in person:

Now, in terms of a style, I get Mario's point - it would be ace to do this in a cool shape. The Wholecut won't work because the skins aren't big enough. But what do you guys think of a Rain-last single monk:

Off White Makeup

Cream suede (basically Milkshake) is definitely available. But there's two other things that we might consider for this:

Cream Calfskin. Little easier to maintain and keep clean than suede. We could actually do this exact style with brass eyes, which would really punch it out!

Blond Suede. Double monk in this with brass hardware would be insanely boss

Two Tone Makeup

Since this will be an early Spring style, how about doing a playful spectator-ish style? These are womens items, but the colors would look great in a Mens shortwing or longwing:

And I want to show you this for color. This is a GORGEOUS dark teal suede. Maybe we can put that into work somewhere. It looks very cool with the dark brown leather. Maybe a two-tone shortwing? A hardcore balmoral boot?

what would one wear a off white shoe with? i think the off white wingtip looks beautiful but i dont see an outfit for it. can someone please suggest what it would look good with?

wow, that navy python is ace! i could go for a single monk. regarding the rain last, i would like to get the cognac pythons in first to see how the rain last fits. i feel the single monk sizing will be less forgiving since there's just the one strap to adjust the fit. if it feels a little wide, i may size down half.

I'd fork over my money this second for that navy calf adelaide and a pair of milk shake monks with brass buckles. Those shoes are gorgeous.

Sounds about right...My only quibble is that I would prefer blond suede monks with brass buckles instead of milkshake. Great ideas as always, Mike.
