I think, it is obvious thing for men to keep different cards in their wallet. If certain situation, in which your credit card is not acceptable or somewhere card payment is not acceptable  you must have your debit car so at least you can make cash payment.

Didnt read past the first page but I lost my last wallet because it was too thick and I kept too much (cash and cards) in it. Now I have my school ID, two forms of identification, AAA card, debit card, and at most 4 bills of cash. Keep it slim.

Holy crap wtf...I just closed out a bank account and my wallet is still not much thicker than the thin one.

What is wrong with that person? are they so fat that it just absorbs into their body so they don't notice it?

yea, I used to carry a bunch of unnecessary cards. Now I carry a card holder with a few cards that I use regularly and then I have a separate wallet that I will take with me if I have other cards or whatnot in it that I think I may need.

Yes - because when you need it, you will know where it is.

And if you need it unexpectedly, like you get in a car accident or collapse at work and are transported to the hospital, it's a lot easier for you to find it in your wallet rather than sending someone to your place to get it.

I guess I carry a bunch more crap than most here (cards from 2 university teaching gigs, Metrocard, insurance cards, etc.) but I really like the wallet I'm currently carrying:

This is much slimmer than wallets I've had in the past. It's a little small for some Euros and GBP but I usually use a travel wallet/passport case when I'm overseas. The only shopping or airline card I bother carrying is the C21 card since skipping the line there can actually be quite useful. I always leave a $100 bill in the hidden pocket just in case.

You straight up want that thing if you get into an accident.

Also, it can be a PITA if you forget it when you show up to a scheduled appointment or if you have to spend an hour remembering where you put it and end up being late.
