Care of cashmere scarves...

Hi,   Not trying to exclusively ask scarf questions but I recently was given two beautiful cashmere scarves that belonged to my late father-in-law.  While in excellent condition, they would benefit from immediate care.  I seem to remember that it is ill advised to send cashmere to the dry cleaners.   Ideas???  Thanks.

Cashmere can be hand washed in cool water with a bit of laundry detergent. Gently press out the water and lay flat to dry.

I handwash my cashmere sweaters and scarves in Woolite, then roll them up in a towel to get the majority of the water out, then lay flat to dry.
