I'm going with my wife to her work Christmas party. She's a speech pathologist and works with kids (if that makes a difference). They're doing some sort of 80's theme. If you don't go with the theme then the dress code is cocktail attire.
I was going to wear a nice shirt with jeans and a blazer because I thought wearing a suit while others are dressed up in costumes would be strange, but apparently I'm wrong. So I'll be wearing my navy blue suit. Should I stick with the classic white? Or go for colors (light blue or purple)?
How about tie color? Pocket square or not?
