I've been looking to purchase these for a few weeks and finally found them online in an Italian Store ( luisaviaroma.com).
I was able to obtain a 30% Thanksgiving discount so the total came to about $850 US..
I am a TTS 8C-D in many makers. 7.5D or 8C in Barrie, 7.5-8D in Edward Green UK sizing. My RL Marlow Wingtips fit pretty well in 8D though the heel is a bit looser than I'd prefer and I use a tongue pad on that shoe which keeps it snug and comfortable.
So it was with some concern when I pulled my new Lindricks out of the box tonight and saw that they are labelled US 8E. I was hoping that maybe the size was a true US8 and the width was a UK in E. Anyway, these appear to be TTS US8E and are a bit wide for me. I put a very thin Tacco insole in and a tongue pad. These measures including a heavier "boot sock" have tightened things up quite a bit and I just took my dogs for a one mile walk in reasonable comfort.
The color is a spectacular and fairly uniform deep chocolate and much more uniform than in the picture which looks too light in some areas and overly dark in others due to shadowing and generally poor photographic technique.
There is no way in hell I would sell these babies unless I could find a pair in size US8D. Or maybe do a swap with someone who has a pair of 8D's. What would you guys do? DSC_6456 (Large).JPG 95k .JPG file
