Basically for 3 reasons:

- Attending a friend's wedding
- Wearing casually with a bomber and oxford button down
- Wearing to the office for work

Should I be looking at Alden/Allen Edmonds or ? I am open to suggestions

Probably want to keep it within the budget of $200-300 new or on the for sale forums

Get a pair of Trickers will satisfied the above requirement

But they might be too chunky for work and wedding

So I will suggested a monk, I think they are the only shoe that will be a better choice than brogue

Except Crokett and Jones, I urged you to check out G.J. Cleverley & Co Ltd, their entry range is very very well made, better than most bench grade shoes I have seen and they are not too expensive.

you are trying to buy a shoe that works for a wedding and also to wear with a bomber jacket and ocbd?

kind of vastly separate requirements there.

not extremely formal where everyone has to be in a tux

wineyard wedding so like just a suit, dress-ish shoes will suffice
