I want to buy some beautiful and well-made lingerie for my girlfriend. She wears cheap mall brands and still looks fantastic, but I would like to treat her to some nicer stuff every once in a while. I've looked at most respected brands like Kiki, La Perla, Myla, Luxxa etc. I like what they have to offer, but holy molly, their bras cost more than my jackets. I certainly think that lingerie for a beautiful woman who makes you happy is worth every dollar, but there's nothing wrong with looking around for better deals. After all, I'd rather buy 3 pieces instead of 1. So, my questions are:

a) Are there places to buy expensive lingerie on sale? Kind of like all the websites and sellers that we know for menswear.

b) Is there sexy and decently-made lingerie for cheap that I don't know about? I don't necessarily want to buy expensive stuff. I just want it to look and feel good.

serious answer: your girl would probably know a good and expensive set vs. something that a hooker buys. if you're gonna give her a nice one that she'll want to wear for you, you gotta spend some serious cash.

La Perla sample sale...but you're not in Manhattan...

The ex nabbed a $400 bikini for $70. She then proceeded to tell me her "La Perla size" which I never took advantage of...oops!

I just dont get the concept of high end "classy" lingerie. Lingerie should be cheap and trashy, just how you want your want your woman to be when she wears it behind closed doors. High end lingerie is a turn off. I just imagine boring emotionally cold women who like having missionary sex with the lights off and enya music in the background wearing it.
