The best (Scottish) cashmere is made by "Begg Scotland"....as far as cashmere quality, they are the best by far....they make for Hermes & Turnbull and Asser, among others....which leaves me to believe that they (may) have diefferent levels of cashmere, but therey all supreme quality.
As far as Loro Piana is concerned, they have nice cashmere, but its nowhere even close to the best.... I would only reccomend them for their specialty cashmeres such as "baby cashmere" or "Vicuna".....those are extremely expensive & not really worth it, but more worth it than their regular cashmere ( if that makes any sense)
