Probably after many wears, someone can put on his shoes without a shoe horn but since I started using shoetrees, I find it almost impossible to wear my lace-ups without a shoe horn.

Loafers: yes. Laced: no.

IMO, if you have to use shoehorn with laced shoes, your shoes are too small.

i hope you didn't pay more than 5 bucks for that, without the logo it looks like some cheap plastic item you can pick up at the dollar store. fools and their money...

Tiffany had a silver one I used to go goo goo gaa ga over. Decided a polished metal one was just as good and 4 bills cheaper. I keep it in the car.

Do you have any bespoke laced shoes? I have two pairs that fit perfectly and a couple of other pairs of RTW that fit very well but I could not get any of them on without a shoehorn. I use a shoehorn on all of my shoes.

None of my shoes are bespoke, but I am fortunate enough to be able to find several lasts that fit me perfectly. With most laces open, I can put my foot in with barely any pressure on the back of the shoes.
