Suedes - C & J Lonsdale vs. Carmina Simpson?

I'm in Paris and the C&Js are selling for 510 euro.

Any thoughts on whether these are better than the similar Simpson last Carminas?

If anyone owns a the C&Js: how do they wear? And are they cheaper anywhere else?

Pediwear used to stock Handgrade shoes for 415 GBP or 483 EUR ( or ex VAT 346 GBP (402 EUR). Not sure if they even carry them anymore though.
