Sending Girlfriend Flowers

Thread Starter
My girlfriend is moving to New York in two months and I want to send flowers to her apartment to arrive the second day she is there. What is the best way to do this (I am assuming there is something better than 1-800 flowers.com) and what type of flowers should I go with? I assume there is some meaning to the particular flowers I pick (i.e. don't pick flowers that are usually st funerals) and some seasonal considerations. I am willing to spend a good amount of money on this if it makes a significant difference... She is the type who probably knows all kinds of minutia about flowers and would appreciate the effort.

Thanks. (FYI I searched and didn't find anything)

You're in NY.

Pick a local florist, colour, amount, and hand over credit card.

Send them to her office instead of home - more girl squeal this way.

Sit back and wait for phone call.

I forgot my profile on this website was old. I am in Houston this year.

But I guess I can yelp a NYC florist and just ask their help over the phone and give them my CC. A small one in west village would be god for that. Good thinking with office. Thanks.

Magnolia Flowers - 436 Hudson St. at Morton - 212-243-7302

$100 will get you in the game. $200 will get you laid over the phone.
