Blazer with removable down vest inside

I noticed this blazer with removable vest at Gilt:
293

I saw another one at Barney's the other day, but there were again only a couple, and they were quite expensive.

I'd really like to buy something like this in a nice heavy fabric. Does anyone know of a source with more than a couple options that is accessible to US orders?

just get a nice sportcoat (cashmere, tweed, wool, whatever) and get a nice slim downvest. --> MUCH MORE VERSATILE
and probably a lot cheaper (you said that the sportcoats were pretty expensive) and simple tweed or wool - sometimes even cashmere mix - can be found for cheap. also the downvest.

Thanks, I will definitely check that place out next time I'm in Madrid. The vests under their blazers are nice, and if I could find something nice and slim like that I'd take your advice, but I'm not so sure finding the ideal separate vest part is that easy.

In all the SCs I have seen, the down thing is only in the front and that too a small portion width wise, so it doesn't add a lot of bulk

Take the vest you like to the shop. Try on the jacket while wearing the vest. You may end up with a slightly larger jacket then you would otherwise.
