My mid grey flannel is one of my favorite suits. I love the look and feel of the flannel.

Go as light as you dare! It's super elegant.

Admitedly it shows every little stain/smudge so it's hard to wear in a weekly rotation when you go very light. But I loves my super light gray suit for meetings where I want to stand out from the crowd.

Standing out from the crowd is not always a great idea in business meetings.

I couldn't agree with you more! It is often best not to stand out.

Conversely there are also times when standing out from the crowd is desirable. For instance, when you have someone over a barrell and you're just there to negotiate terms. It can be financially advantageous to have as much 'upper hand' as you can get. I'm not above a little sartorial intimidation from time to time. stirpot.gif

Be bold and full of swagger if you hold the gun, if not go for safe combos.
