Film is a series of conversations with Naples tailors as well as with a couple of customers. It is interlaced with shots of the city and beautifully illustrated with a great jazz score. Conversations are about what tailoring means to them, to Naples, how they learned the craft, how they approach the customer and his demands, how the Napolitan jacket style came about, etc... Quite a bit of repetition in the thoughts expressed but overall a general feeling of passion for their craft comes out when they speak. Did not give me great hope for the future of these houses though since all these people (including the sewers) are quite old and the movie did not give us a glimpse at the potential succession. An enjoyable film - particularly because the score and photography made it so pleasant to watch.
