Chogall: More like G&G/EG - certainly not largish like C&J and JL.
Lychyrychy: I can't say anything about how they will hold up or crease. Today was the first day I've worn them. All shoes crease with the first wearing, as did these. Nothing excessive, and the creases held their color. All I can say is that the leather does not have a supple feel so far.
So the leather is sub-par? I was thinking about getting suede wholecuts from this maker, but if the quality isn't that good, Carminas aren't much higher priced really...
I like that green. How early, in years, are we talking?
Well, we don't know yet, as it seems that no-one who has posted here has actually worn a pair for long enough to really comment.
And what do you gentlemen think of the shoes according to the pictures?
It's great if you live in Paris or the region, and are into honoring this kind of treatment.
However, that's not me.
To my eye it's a bit artificial and it's only appealing for those instances in which a "funny" shoe is desirable ie: street wear at the pitti or daily wear of dandy clothes etc. in those environments in which the locals have an understanding or appreciation for it. And in my case a plain patine seems more reasonable.
I doubt I'll ever have occasion to chose it.
