Thanks. Saw some pretty nice stuff on the website; will see what it's like in person. And yeah sizing will be good to ascertain in person. I might spring for the patina--seems to be their specialty and the add-on charge is very reasonable...

Another user has a fantastic pair of SL shoes but doesn't recall the exact style/model, only that they are 199 last.

Hoping someone here can ID them for me.

Hey guys! I'm looking at getting a pair of the Cernay in burgundy.  What is the heel height of their shoes and could someone comment on the shade of burgundy? Is it more red or purple?  Thanks!!

I have a pair of SL's in their 206 last in size UK 7.5. I'm looking to get their wholecut in the 199 last and was told to 1/2 size up to a UK 8. Does anyone have both of these models and can comment on the size fit between the 206 and 199 lasts.

Main concern is the width difference between the lasts (206: E width) versus (199: D width). Does the sizing recommendation work for anyone who has their shoes in both the lasts. Thanks

Dont have the experience with 206 last but have 199. I also own a few other shoes :Meermin, Carmina, Grenson, Loake.

199 is definitely on the narrow/tight side, but not nearly as tight as Carmina Rain or Meermin Hiro. Also, you don't have to break in SL shoes, they're comfortable from day one.

I find the 199 last very narrow, and wish I had sized a half size up. I found it narrower than the Meermin Olfe and Hiro lasts and the Carmina Rain last (I own all of these in UK 7.5).
