Ties- silk alternatives?

I'd prefer not to wear silk or wool; the alternative seems to be a perhaps not so great looking polyester. do I have any other options please?

They make cotton and linen ties, but they are generally for summer wear. I used to have a velvet tie.

Why are you opposed to silk and wool?

My best guess is that you're vegan, right?

Well, there are alternatives as stated above. The best one are of course the organic ones. There are many cotton and linen qualities that could actually work quite great for F/W use as well (cotton flannel to name one).

thanks very much guys, I am in London, UK. may I pls take further advantage of your help and ask- any ideas where I can get good cotton ties in London or online?
