And to the OP, now give them some protective spray as it'll help guard them in the future.

Yeah I retreated them with a spray guard right after I took the picture. I actually attribute the initial spraying with saving some of the damage. Though obviously it could just be the combination of luck and quality suede...

I'm a big fan of waterproofing suede the moment I buy new shoes. Yes, it often darkens them a bit but my shoes look good for years.

Don't wait, waterproof with a spray right away. Especially before hitting a bar smile.gif

Agreed. I bought a pair of suede rubber soled wingtips just for light-medium rain.
