The RM Williams are both wholecuts but I don't think that's what you meant
Yep, that's where the Weymouths come in.

I like the idea of a double monk (always fancied a Lowndes) but don't know what area it would fill that the single monks don't already cover. I actually feel that the Mortimers are redundant but they were a real bargain - if they can fit after being stretched ...
I've got a pair of chocolate brown suede chukkas from Florsheim that I bought just before I started reading SF - pretty comfortable and too new to replace. Not sure about where the calf chukkas or the country boots fit into the whole thing though - I think the chelseas could substitute pretty well for either of them.
The Darwin (currently in transit) is a brown calf penny loafer although a chocolate brown penny loafer would be very nice. Still, I think the brown calf penny could cover the same area as a suede. The Guildford (dark brown) in the pic is a calf full brogue. Although not cap toed, I think the Weymouth could technically be considered a semi-brogue - maybe a quarter (or eighth?).
Would these be considered a semi-brogue even without the medallion on the toe cap?
If so, the Weymouth and the Westbourne that I have in mind should pretty much cover all I'd need to
I know they're well loved but somehow, suede brogues and semi-brogues don't really appeal to me - maybe I just haven't found the right one ...
You've really started something by putting thoughts of chocolate brown suede penny loafers in my mind though!

Seriously - it looks like you have made good choices. Especially in terms of colors.
Thanks for the kind words - being here has really made me think carefully rather than buying blindly (which I'm all too used to doing!). Also, before this I would have totally gone for black shoes - I've now realised that brown is SO much more versatile! ![1159[1].gif](http://files.styleforum.net/images/smilies/1159%5B1%5D.gif)
