Trying to re-create this outfit....help?

I think this looks great and I wanna wear it. Can anyone just clarify what kind of jeans fit this is? Also, he is basically wearing a navy cardignan with a red polo underneath right? I'm a noob so forgive ignorance.

Also, since my budget is limited, can I basically just wear my Clark's Desert Boots in beeswax color instead of the kind of shoes he's wearing?

Thank you.

The shawl cowl pullover is very trendy right now so you can find them everywhere. That one looks like cashmere to me.

Any collared red shirt would be fine, but IMO red + blue right next to each other looks kind of bad.

Swapping those loafers for a pair of clarks would be an improvement.

I assume you're planning on wearing jeans that actually fit. Those look like a straight fit, but they're at least 3 inches too long.

If you want to recreate this look and a million like it, see any trendy meanswear brand this season. You could pull this look straight out of a RL or j crew catalog.

Thank you so much!

You really think the red shirt looks bad? I thought it was kind of nice. If not, what color shirt do you recommend I wear with it? And would it fit as well since I think, correct me if I'm wrong, that he is wearing a polo in that picture? Maybe the collar would be kind of different?

Any other color combinations you think would be good that could make it stand out a bit more?

This outfit does look nice, right?

It's not the worst thing I've ever seen. His jeans need to be hemmed.

He's way better than the guy in the background. That's for sure.

Personally I think red right next to blue looks pretty bad. The closer you get to primary colors (red, green, blue), the worse they look next to one another. There are shades that work, but it's easy to have a them clash.

A shirt in cream, brown, grey, or white would be better. If you want to inject some color, muted yellow or orange would likely look better than the red.

It could be a polo that he's wearing, but really since the sweater is covering his whole arm it's hard to tell, and probably doesn't matter.

What does that mean? How would you improve it?

Hem the jeans, or cuff them. Wear ankle length boots, wear a button down under the shawl collar sweater, not red. Frankly, that sweater should be a different color too - with jeans it doesn't look that great.

Any suggestions? I have grey chinos already, would that work with a shawl pullover and Clark's DB? If so, what color should the shawl cardignan be? I know nothing about color matching.

Would lighter jeans work too? I'll post a pic of some jeans I have in a sec.

If you get this outfit to a T, a Kardashian will date you. But you will universally be known as a d-bag.

So I'm thinking of keeping the same type of pullover, with a cream/very light yellow shirt underneath, Clark's DBs, but not sure what kind of bottom to wear? What kind of chinos or jeans would be good?

And my goal is not to imitate this guy, I just thought his outfit seemed well put together and it fits with my kind of style.

If you want K. Dash you'll need the jeans w/ flashy back pockets.
