Imagine never again having to settle for a shirt that fits right in some areas but not in others. Pezalli fit specialists take 18 different measurements in order to draft a shirt pattern uniquely shaped to your body; mass produced shirts use only two. Design and construction details also promote an ideal fit. For example, our split yoke allows for differing left and right shoulder heights.
Pezalli shirts are sewn by master craftspeople using the world’s finest materials and state-of-the-art German machines and technology. Through 55 separate steps, they pay meticulous attention to every detail — never taking the shortcuts that a mass production facility would do. Such shortcuts result in cost effectiveness at the expense of shirt quality.
It's these details that make such a remarkable difference between a Pezalli and a run of the mill shirt. It starts in the cutting room, where we perfectly match the fabric pattern at the shirt seams and pockets, as well as balance it side to side and front to back. Doing so entails more time and fabric usage, but the final look of the shirt has the couture level elegance that will satisfy the most demanding connoisseur.
Extensive research has gone into our stitching techniques. We use a remarkable 23 stitches per inch — unheard-of in a ready-to-wear factory — creating beautiful, flat seams that are practically invisible and won’t pucker after being washed. This stitch density requires sophisticated machines, special needles, the best core-spun, lubricated thread and a very specific sewing speed. Our 120-stitch buttonholes have the extreme neatness of precision engineering and are incredibly strong and fray-proof through years of wear.
Single needle French seams not only give the shirt the look of expensive craftsmanship, they also improve its durability. Every Pezalli shirt has our exclusive engineered gusset reinforcing the hem’s front and back corners. And buttons are attached with a thread-wrapped shank which allows the placket overlap to lie flat without pulling.
Then there are the details you don't even see, yet contribute significantly to the deluxe comfort and appearance of a Pezalli shirt. Our interlining — which adds body to collar, cuffs and front placket — is exceptionally supple; and we fuse it to the outer layer of fabric so that the layer against your skin stays soft and comfortable. We've also designed the collar stays to be removable, so that you can wear the shirt in both formal and more casual modes.

We source from only the best mills in Italy and India, hand selecting luxury shirtings of both substance and style: unparalleled softness and comfort as well as a couture aesthetic that graces the most prestigious wardrobe. All are 100% cotton — in fact, the world’s finest Egyptian long staple cotton — which is spun into sumptuously soft, yet strong two-ply yarns, then woven into fabrics that drape the body elegantly, maintain superior breathability and resist wrinkling or clinging.
The core fabric collection, available year round, includes dobbies, twills, poplins, oxfords, zephyrs and herringbones for business wear, and more adventurous or opulent jacquards and satin finishes for evening wear. This wide selection offers premium choices to complement the taste and lifestyle of any modern connoisseur.

For Spring 2012, Pezalli creative director Raaj Nair initiates a relationship of sensory delight between the fabric and its wearer. A delicate touch, both visual and tactile, characterizes this exclusive new range of fine cotton weaves. Dyed in powdered hues of blush, rose, celeste, sky blue, aquamarine and lilac and finished with pearlized sheens, they exude an aura of calm confidence for the man who demands the ultimate level of luxury in his professional and personal life.
Raaj Nair comes to Pezalli with a degree from one of Milan's top fashion academies. His mission is to blend contemporary fashion with master craftsmanship, creating shirts that exceed the most refined and discerning expectations.
