In my experience sleeping in them does speed up the breaking-in process. Any kind of wear -- dormant or awake -- will contribute to breaking in, fading, honeycombs, etc.

I don't see how this could possibly be the case. Most people spend the majority of their time when asleep completely motionless. Motion is required to break in and fade jeans. People who sleep in their jeans are smoking crack if they think it's going to help their fade.

Maybe people who smoke crack move more in their sleep? Self-fulfilling prophecy!

I sleep in the nude. Or sometimes in boxer briefs. Now you know. Enjoy.

do you ever sleep in the bed with someone else? girlfriend, boyfriend, wife? i dont know about you but in my experience no one stays completely motionless while sleeping (sometimes i wish they would ). and even though you might not move much the slight movement of your knees and legs, added with the friction of the bed and bed coverings, adds up over time. any time spent wearing your denim you are adding to wear.

i dont like to sleep in my jeans but, like cheap, sometimes i just pass out while wearing them.

SteezConfession: I slept in my PBJs for the first couple nights after their first soak, to stretch them out some. I am probably infertile now. I haven't told my fiancee...

Though she sleeps in the same bed with me, so in theory she should know?

Wearing jeans to bed with a significant other seems to set a precedent I'd rather not set. I live in a temperate climate, so what's next: said other rocking sweatpants and a parka? It's an arms race of bundling I'd rather not start.

I put my jeans on a robot mannequin that moves its legs all night.

She was too drunk on her own victory to think about it.

Dude, it only gets harder to get laid after the engagement. They know they've got the hooks in, they can lay off. A man does what he has to, nameen?
