Boots with denim: to tuck or not to tuck

I got a new pair of boots for a winter a few weeks ago and have been enjoying rocking them with my APCs over the past couple weeks.

Thus far, I've been going with a partial tuck since you can only see the base portion of the boot with the no tuck and the full tuck makes the jeans look weird and invariably requires a re-tuck after you move around in them.

Is there a better way to go about this that would show the bulk of the boot but also present a tidier appearance than the partial tuck I've been going with?

I hear you, I kinda feel the same way, which is why I'm curious how the no-tuck folks deal with the wearing boots with jeans.
