never heard of that before... this thread has provided me with some excellent options when going shopping with my super skinny friends.

I'm in the same boat. My real size is 39R but almost impossible to find. What I do is stick to European size 50 which is closer to a 39 than a 40. Also, the HF Barret model in 40R is closer to a 39R.
